VPN - How to Connect to our Network Remotely
Summary
Learn how to connect to our internal network by using the VPN client installed on your Nobis issued laptop.
There are multiple ways to connect. These options are described below.
*Note that you must have the VPN client installed on your laptop. If you would like to request the VPN software be installed, click here.

Instructions
Option 1
1. Click the Windows Start Button at the bottom left of your screen.Start typing VPN Client and the Barracuda VPN Client will appear as an option.
2. Click Barracuda VPN Client. A login window will appear at the bottom right of your screen.
3. Type in your network credentials and click Connect. (*Note: Your username is the first part of your email address before the @.)
4. If you enrolled properly in Duo (2FA), you'll receive a push notification from the Duo app on your mobile phone. Your barracuda VPN icon will stay blue until you press "Approve." (If you didn't enroll, then it will not connect at all. If the VPN stays blue, you haven't clicked "Approve" or there is an issue with Duo.
5. Once you click "Approve" on the Duo app, your Barracuda icon will turn green. You're in! (Please read Troubleshooting below if you can't connect.)
Option 2 (most popular)
1. Normally, the VPN Client will already be running in your system tray – in the row of icons next to the clock on the bottom right of your screen. It might be hidden, click the chevron to see hidden icons. You can always left-click and drag it to the system tray if you want to see it permanently.
2. Right-click on the VPN Client icon, hover over the Connect to menu and click Nobis.
3. Type in your username and password, then click Connect. Same as step 2 in Option 1 above.
4. If you enrolled properly in Duo (2FA), you'll receive a push notification from the Duo app on your mobile phone. Your barracuda VPN icon will stay blue until you press "Approve." (If you didn't enroll, then it will not connect at all. If the VPN stays blue, you haven't clicked "Approve" or there is an issue with Duo.
5. Once you click "Approve" on the Duo app, your Barracuda icon will turn green. You're in! (Please read Troubleshooting below if you can't connect.)
