WellSky | Unable to open PDFs in Chrome

Summary

This will apply to users who have the ability to view PDFs within WellSky. By default, Chrome should allow WellSky to open PDFs within the application, but some people have reported that they can't view the PDFs using the correct browser recommended by WellSky.

Instructions

There is a setting within Chrome browser settings that can affect how PDFs are viewed or downloaded.

1. Click the three dots of the Chrome browser and select "Settings."

2. Within the Settings screen, you should see a "Search Settings" field. Type "PDF".

3. You will find a result marked in yellow from your search settings under "Site settings." Click on it.

4. On the next screen, scroll to the very bottom until you see "Additional content settings". Click on it to expand more options. Click on "PDF documents."

5. You will see two options. The option to choose is "Open PDFs in Chrome." This setting should allow you to open PDFs within WellSky.
