SummaryThis will apply to users who have the ability to view PDFs within WellSky. You were able to save the file as a PDF, it doesn't give the option anymore. Instead, it shows .htm. This is a workaround for the current issue until WellSky fixes the problem. This is not meant to be a permanent fix.
Instructions
There is a setting within Chrome browser settings that can affect how PDFs are viewed or downloaded.
1. Click the three dots of the Chrome browser and select "Settings."
2. Within the Settings screen, you should see a "Search Settings" field. Type "PDF".
3. You will find a result marked in yellow from your search settings under "Site settings." Click on it.
4. On the next screen, scroll to the very bottom until you see "Additional content settings". Click on it to expand more options. Click on "PDF documents."
5. Ensure "Open PDFs in Chrome" radio button is selected.
6. Let's go back into WellSky Specialty Care.
If you are logged in, you must log out. Now Log In
Select your Patient and Document > Click Print > Print Selected
Follow your normal steps (example: Answers Only....)
When the document opens, in the upper left corner, there is the setup
- If your setup = getDocument.jsp - Google Chrome
- Click on the Printer icon in upper right corner
- For Print > Destination > Select Save as PDF
You will need to save the Document to your workstation and then Fax or Email
This is a TEMPORARY solution while WellSky makes a long term fix to the application
